Every spec of specifications matter when it comes to gaming, But, what about the difference between Windows 11 Professional and Home edition? Does it matter? The answer to this question is that Windows 11 pro is slightly better. But, for workstations pro is much better. Let's find out the reasons

This is the biggest advantage Windows 11 pro has over the home edition. The Pro version supports up to two terabytes of RAM while Home version supports 128 gigabytes of RAM. Yes, the Pro version can support 15 times more RAM.

However, this does not mean that the Pro version performs 15 times better. In fact, depending on your setup, you may not see any benefits. The reason is because 32 GB of RAM is usually enough for top gamers. Even 16 GB is enough for many cases. Your computer will not run faster if it doesn't need to use the extra RAM. Rather than investing on much RAM, consider upgrading your graphics card instead.

Windows 11 pro is able to support two processors. Again, this does not mean double-the-performance. Having two physical processors on the same motherboard leads to more latency, which hinders any potential benefits. This major bottleneck is one of the reasons why you don't see many computers having multiple processors today. What is more, these systems are not cost effective. As such, you're better off getting a good single CPU with multiple cores instead.

For workstations and enterprises purposes, Windows 11 pro is much better, Unlike gaming, intense video editing, photo editing and other creative tasks require much more RAM. For enterprise users, the extra RAM will make it easier to do more virtualization machine setups. What is more, other Windows 11 pro features such as bitlocker, group policy, dynamic provisioning and other useful features for the enterprise.
